On Friday evening as I was looking for inspiration (or more objects to make marks on my next painting) I came across this fabulous, and way too white apron just begging to be taken to my studio and given a new home. I unpacked it carefully, and marvelled at the crisp white fabric (I took this photo to remind me of how it started out), and today I christened it with paint, let the transformation begin – I can’t wait to see how it turns out! It”s not only a useful, and soon to be more colourful work of art, it’s a message for me when I compare myself with others. Expect to see me and the apron on many more posts – definitely apron love!
